The Attachment researcher Dr. Laura mentioned who worked after WW2 with John Bowlby was Michael Rutter. You can read about his publications here. Dr. Allan Shore wrote about the mother providing a secure attachment later in life (but not earlier) which Dr. Laura mentioned during the training. Here is his website.
