About Nerissa Bauer, MD
Dr. Nerissa Bauer is a behavioral pediatrician and entrepreneur in Carmel, Indiana who left academia in December 2018. In addition to her part-time behavioral health practice, she is CEO of Let’s Talk Kids Health and a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bauer is also the founder of TEACH ME ADHD, an online course for families and a podcaster of the TEACH to Go podcast for her ADHD Sleuths members.
Dr. Bauer had a late diagnosis of ADHD in her 40s. She believes that children should have opportunities to learn how to live with ADHD in a child-friendly way so they have the life skills to advocate for themselves and embrace their ADHD superpower. She is on a mission to help kids and parents thrive with ADHD, while rediscovering fun.
